2013 Criterium Training Series

Team Dayton will host a Summer Criterium Training Series in 2012 at the Kil-Kare Speedway  in Xenia, OH.  It is a easy way to practice your criterium skills or a non-threatening way to get started.  The 2013 sessions will be held on every Tuesday night from March 26th through August 13th.  Sessions start at 6:30 pm.

The 3/26, 4/2, 4/9, 4/16, and 4/23 sessions are for Team Dayton members only and will focus on specific criterium skills.  Public criterium training begins on May 1st.

Course:  Closed course with 6 corners each lap.  Plenty of parking, friendly atmosphere, beginner to pro level Criterium race training! 

Details:  

• Training is open to all racers w/ valid USA Cycling or 1-day license
• Must sign in each week and sign USA Cycling training waiver
• The fields are broken up into two separate groups.
  • Cat 4/5/women/Juniors -- 40 minutes w/ a 6:31 start time
  • Cat 1/2/3 -- 50 minutes w/ a 6:30 start time
• Intermediate & final sprints
• Course is closed during the training sessions.  Bring your trainer or warm-up on bikeway.  

Cost:  FREE for Team Dayton Members and $3 for non-Members.  Season passes available for $40.

• From Cincinnati: Take I-75 north to I-675 East (Beavercreek), then 7 miles east on St. Rt 35.  Left on Trebien Rd; Right on Dayton-Xenia to Kil-Kare Raceway.
